Partly Facetious: Qadri's a flawed logic
"So has Qadri's politics been discredited thoroughly yet?"
"Not yet, but his logic was flawed and..."
"Excuse me? Is the victimisation logic not flawed for a government that completed its five-year term, an unheard of thing in the land of the pure? Is the logic of change through example not flawed given the scale and extent of corruption in this country and I include not only parliamentarians but also the generals and the bureaucrats? Is the economic logic of Ishaq Dar not flawed, I know he is an accountant but to give macro economy to an accountant cannot be supported, and let's be honest, PML (N) is the only party that has a number of economists so this nepotism must be abandoned."
"What about the other smaller regional parties? Do you support their logic?"
"MQM is against GST on traders, their support base, and would someone please take away railways from the ANP..."
"ANP is unlikely to win too many seats."
"Ah, but they may well go the PPP way, focus on victimisation as a strategy and let's be honest, while the PPP is defending itself against charges of corruption, the ANP ministers and their families are being targeted by the Taliban."
"So more cause you reckon?"
"Death trumps corruption charges, flawed or otherwise, as an effective victimisation strategy."
"Don't be facetious. But going back to Qadri what in the world does he want?"
"He can gather numbers, with or without considerable support..."
"Shhh, the consequences of this maybe dire for you..."
"Those days are gone my friend, no one except MQM has supported his call and..."
"Does that mean he cannot march to Islamabad?"
"He maybe able to gather the numbers but I doubt if that would lead to any change if you know what I mean?"
"Why?"
"Because his call is not rooted in democratic principles!"
"What is it rooted in?"
"Canadian maple syrup, gives you a sugar high but for a very short time."
"Don't be facetious."
